Moonlight Tours (“we”) runs ghost tours, history walks and cemetery investigations in Placerville and Folsom, California. This policy explains what we collect on moonlighttours.co and how we use it.
What we collect
- Inquiry forms: your name, email, phone number (optional), preferred contact method, and the details you give us about your group, dates, accessibility or dietary needs.
- Spam protection: when you submit a form, Akismet (Automattic) checks the submission, which may include your IP address and browser details.
- Basic server logs and cookies needed for the site to work. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
How we use it
We use your details only to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote or proposal, and manage your booking. We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Tickets
Public tour tickets are sold through Eventbrite. When you buy a ticket, Eventbrite’s privacy policy applies to the information you give them.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages for as long as we need them to respond and for our business records, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing jack@moonlighttours.co or calling (530) 497-4960. California residents may also ask what information we have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we don’t share it for that purpose.
Do Not Track
Our site doesn’t change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because we don’t track visitors across other sites.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information online.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above.
